Morgan Kost's goal gave the Mountain Cat women's soccer team an early first half lead, but Slippery Rock battled back with a pair of second half goals, including one with just two minutes remaining, to earn a 2-1 PSAC Western Division victory over Pitt-Johnstown, Saturday afternoon in Slippery Rock. The Mountain Cats slipped to 1-3-0 overall and 0-2-0 in conference-play.

Haley Neidig eight minutes into the match to put the Mountain Cats on top.
Pitt-Johnstown held that lead until Slippery Rock's Kayla Swope knotted it at one 16 minutes into the second half.

Negri faced 14 Slippery Rock shots and made nine saves, while Rock goalkeeper Emma Yoder saw 10 shots from Pitt-Johnstown, made five saves, and allowed one goal.
Slippery Rock improved to 3-0-1 overall and 2-0-0 in the PSAC West.
The Mountain Cats travel to a PSAC match Clarion on Wednesday, before hosting a conference match against Seton Hill on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
