
Lock Haven scored two goals early in the second half to erase a one-goal deficit on its way to 2-1, non-conference victory over the Pitt-Johnstown women's soccer team in Thursday's 2021 season-opener in Lock Haven.

Lock Haven answered with a pair of goals in the first eight minutes of the second half. Less than a minute in Eva Stoessel found the back of the net behind Mountain Cat goalkeeper
Sachi Negri, before the Bald Eagles took a 2-1 lead on a Hunter McClellan goal in the 54
th minute.

After allowing the opening goal of the match, Bald Eagle goalkeeper Kylie Auman kept the Mountain Cats off the scoreboard the rest of the way. Auman saw five saves and made one save.
Negri suffered the loss in goal for Pitt-Johnstown after giving up both goals. Negri faced nine shots and made five saves for the Mountain Cats.
The Mountain Cats will make their 2021 debut with a non-conference match against Mansfield on Sunday at 2 p.m., before opening PSAC-West play with a home match against Gannon on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
