Alexzander Toto's goal with just over eight minutes remaining in the first half knotted it at one and helped the Mountain Cat men's soccer team secure a 1-1, double overtime draw with D'Youville (NY) College in Tuesday's 2021 home opener at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field. Pitt-Johnstown is now 1-3-1 on the year.
D'Youville opened the scoring in the 35
th minute when Felipe Santos finished an assist from Guillermo Cabello.
The Mountain Cats answered back a few minutes later to tie it.
Adan Cabrera-Perez and
Mitch Snowden set up Toto's goal that beat Saints' goalkeeper Ethan Pickard.

Neither team was able to score again over the final 55 minutes of regulation and a pair of 10-minute overtime sessions.
Sage Parsley saw 16 shots from D'Youville, made five saves and allowed one goal in net for Pitt-Johnstown, while Pickard also face 16 shots from the Mountain Cats. Pickard made eight saves and surrendered on goal.
With the draw, the Saints are now 4-2-2.
The Mountain Cats open-up PSAC-West play with a home match against California (PA) on Saturday at noon, before hosting a non-conference match against Lock Haven on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
