After a full 90 minutes where neither team scored, the Pitt-Johnstown Women's soccer team battled to a scoreless PSAC Western Division tie with Clarion University on Wednesday afternoon. The Mountain Cats moved to 4-7-4 overall on the season, and 4-6-3 in conference play.
Despite facing 16 shots from the Golden Eagles, including five from Alayna Wicker, Pitt-Johnstown goalkeeper Sachi Negri managed to make seven saves and didn't allow a goal.Â
Morgan Kost led the Mountain Cats with three shots.
Clarion moved to 3-10-3 overall and 2-9-3 in conference play with the draw.Â
The Pitt-Johnstown women's soccer team will remain at home to take on Seton Hill University on Saturday, October 22nd at 1:00 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
