The Pitt-Johnstown volleyball team returns to the Sports Center Tuesday evening to host a non-conference match against Shippensburg. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.

Pitt-Johnstown, 7-11 overall under
Coach Morgan Mammosser, dropped a pair of PSAC Wester Division matches last week. On Wednesday, Indiana (PA) earned a 3-1 win in the Sports Center, before Division leading Clarion swept the Mountain Cats in Clarion on Friday.

Coach Leanne Piscotty's (19
th-Year) Shippensburg Red Raiders enter the match at 9-9 after splitting two PSAC Eastern Division Matches over the weekend. On Friday, Shippensburg fell, 3-1, at Millersville, before rebounding with a 3-0 sweep at West Chester on Saturday.

In the last meeting between the two teams on Oct. 12, 2021, the Red Raiders earned a 3-1 win in Shippensburg.Â
Grace Miller had 12 kills, while
Cassie Pascarella and
Lualis Alvardo had 10 kills apiece for Pitt-Johnstown. Â
Kat Negron and
Emily Gardner each had 15 kills to lead Shippensburg.

Pitt-Johnstown will begin a stretch of three straight PSAC road matches at Edinboro on Friday and at Mercyhurst on Saturday. The Mountain Cats will play their next home match on Oct. 15 when Gannon visits the Sports Center.
