A rough night offensively sent the Mountain Cats to a 57-39 setback against East Stroudsburg on Saturday at Koehler Fieldhouse. Pitt-Johnstown fell to 4-3 (1-1 PSAC).
Olivia Fasick had a team-high 14 points and three assists for the Mountain Cats. Cassidy Crawford provided eight points and a team-high seven boards.
In what was a tight contest throughout much of the first half, the Warriors turned the game in their favor by shooting 72.7% (8 for 11) from the field, including a perfect 4 of 4 from deep, in the third quarter to outscore the Mountain Cats 24-11 and take control.
Cassidy Saylor poured in a game-high 16 points for the Warriors, who improved to 6-1 (2-0 PSAC).
The Mountain Cats will visit Mount St. Mary's (MD) in an exhibition matchup on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
