
Pitt-Johnstown gave 24
th-ranked Seton Hill all it could handle in Tuesday's opener of a non-conference doubleheader in Greensburg, but the Griffins rallied for four runs in the bottom of the seventh to walk-off with a 5-4 win, before completing the sweep with a 7-2 victory in the nightcap.
Taylor Mendicino,
Tori Radvan, and
Carly Santillo all homered for the Mountain Cats, now 10-7 on the year.
In game one, Pitt-Johnstown jumped out to a 2-0 second inning lead.
Laura Fox walked and moved to second on Radvan's one-out base hit.
Lauren Gohacki followed with an RBI single that scored Fox, and
Kelsi Terzolino's sacrifice fly plated Radvan.
Mendicino led off the top of the third with a homer to right center, and Radvan's solo homer to left to start the fourth increased the Mountain Cats' lead to 4-0.
Seton Hill got one of those runs back on a Nichole McClendon homer in the bottom of the fifth.

Pitt-Johnstown held the 4-1 lead into the bottom of the seventh. Back-to-back solo home runs off of Mountain Cat starter
Alyssa Hileman from Brooke Cleland and Grace Paredes quickly made it 4-3. After a pop out, McClendon tripled and scored to tie it on a three-base error, and Morgan Ryan's RBI single through the right side gave the Griffins the 5-4 walk-off victory.
Hileman suffered the loss and slipped to 6-3. Hileman allowed five runs (4 earned) on 11 hits in 6.1 innings. She struck out two and walked none.
Mendicino went 3-for-4 with a solo homer, while Radvan was 2-for-3 with a homer and two runs to lead Pitt-Johnstown. Santillo and Fox each had a pair of hits, and Gohacki singled and drove in one.
Jenna Osikowicz collected three hits, McClendon tripled and homered, and Paredes had two hits, including a solo home run for Seton Hill.
Lauren Dellett gave up four runs on 10 hits in the complete-game win for the Griffins.

In game two, Seton Hill took a 1-0 second-inning lead on Cleland's second solo homer of the day.
Morgan Ryan's two-out single down the left field line chased home McClendon, and Cleland's two-run double in the bottom of the third pushed it out to 4-0.
The Griffins added three more unearned runs in the fifth, including Paredes' two-run double, before Santillo's solo homer to center in the top of the sixth cut it to 7-1.
The Mountain Cats scored an unearned run in the top of the seventh when Gohacki scored from second on a Griffin's fielding error to set the final at 7-2.
Santillo was 2-for-3 with a solo home run, Mendicino doubled, and
Olivia Porter and Gohacki each had hits for Pitt-Johnstown.
Kayla Miehl (1-1), the current PSAC West Pitcher of the Week, got the start in the circle for Pitt-Johnstown and surrendered seven runs (4 earned) on 12 hits over the first five innings.
Julie Shinavski allowed one hit in a scoreless sixth inning for the Mountain Cats.
Cleland doubled, homered and knocked in three, and Morgan Toal had three hits for Seton Hill.
With the sweep, the Griffins made it nine straight wins and improved to 22-3.
Pitt-Johnstown travels to Bloomsburg on Saturday and to Salem (WV) on Monday for non-conference doubleheaders, returning home to begin PSAC West-play with doubleheaders against Slippery Rock on April 8 and Mercyhurst on April 9 at V.E. Erickson Complex.
