Alexis Johnson's shot late in regulation that was saved by diving Lock Haven goalkeeper Megan Miller, but the Mountain Cats were unable to get the equalizer.
Sachi Negri saw 14 shots from the Bald Eagles and made seven saves for Pitt-Johnstown, but surrendered the match's lone goal, while Miller earned the shutout for Lock Haven after facing 11 shots and making five saves.
With the victory, the Bald Eagles improved to 2-0-0.
Pitt-Johnstown visits Edinboro of open PSAC West-play on Saturday, before returning home to host a conference match against California (PA) on September 7 at 3 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
