Just 37 seconds later, Ulrich added to the Mountain Cats' lead by sending a shot past Central Penn goalkeeper Andrew Hunter, who faced 30 shots and made 10 saves.

The Knights (3-5-1) responded in the 11th minute with a goal from Pramesh Gurung that was assisted by Jake Phillippe.

Ulrich notched his second goal in the 22nd minute thanks to an assist from AJ Getsy.

Jack Moyer scored the Mountain Cats' fourth goal in the 75th minute with a shot into the high left corner of the net on an assist from Jonathan Merli. Jerel Joseph capped the scoring with a tally in the 77th minute. Ulrich and Mario Abadir were credited with the assists.

Pitt-Johnstown racked up 15 shots on goal led by Cabrera-Perez's five. Mountain Cats goalkeeper PJ Derksen made two saves in 85 minutes and the Pitt-Johnstown defense limited Central Penn to just four shots on goal.
