The Mountain Cat men's soccer team will continue its stretch of three consecutive home matches when ninth-ranked Mercyhurst University visits the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field on Saturday. Kick-off for the PSAC Western Division match is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Pitt-Johnstown comes in at 1-3-1 overall and 0-1-0 in the PSAC West under
Coach Eric Kinsey. After suffering a 4-1 loss at Slippery Rock on Saturday to open conference-play, the Mountain Cats bounced back with a 5-1 non-conference victory over Central Penn on Tuesday.
Evan Ulrich had a pair of goals and assists to lead Pitt-Johnstown, which outshot the Knights 30-5.

Coach Ryan Osborne's ninth-ranked Mercyhurst Lakers improved to 8-0-1 overall and 2-0-0 in the PSAC West after Wednesday's 1-0 win over Seton Hill.
Dylan Sumner's goal just over 86 minutes into the match led the Lakers over the Griffins. Mercyhurst also defeated California (PA), 5-0, last Saturday.
The Mountain Cats will host a PSAC West match against Gannon as part of a doubleheader with the women's team at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field on Wednesday, before traveling to a conference match at Seton Hill next Saturday.
