Lippincott, Pinske Earn Spots on College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Women’s Volleyball Team

Lippincott, NataliePinske, MalloryPitt-Johnstown's Natalie Lippincott and Mallory Pinke earned spots on the Division II 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Women's Volleyball Team when this year's recipients were released on Tuesday.
 
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members.  First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Jan. 9, 2024.
 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.

Lippincott, a sophomore outside hitter from Bedford, Pa. played in 30 of Pitt-Johnstown's 31 matches in 2023 and was second on the team in blocks (41) and third on the team in kills (232), kills per set (2.23), points (259.5), and blocks (41).
 
Pinske, a 20223 Second-Team All-PSAC West middle hitter from Rock Falls, IL, paced the Mountain Cats in hitting percentage (.306), blocks (78) solo blocks (19), and block assists (59), and was second on the team in kills (237), kills per set (2.26), and points (318.5).  Pinske also finished third on the team in service aces with 33.
