Pitt-Johnstown senior pole vaulter Kate Yahner secured a spot on the 2023 USTFCCCA Division II All-Atlantic Region Team after finishing the season with one of the top-five vaults in the region.
 
Yahner, a native of Nicktown, Pa. and a graduate of Bishop Carroll High School, ranked fourth in the Atlantic Region with her vault of 3.71 meters (12'2") at the PSAC Championships in Slippery Rock on May 11.
 
Nationally, Yahner ranks 46^th in NCAA Division II.
 
As a freshman, Yahner vaulted at 3.07 meters, before improving to 3.71 meters in 2022-23, just three centimeters shy of reaching a national provisional mark.
