Mayah Charity,
Kara McKenzie, and
Kate Yahner all won individual events to lead the Pitt-Johnstown women's track and field team to another strong showing at the Saint Francis Red Flash Invitation over the weekend.
Charity won the 200-Meter Dash at 25.89 and
Abbey-Gale Brooks finished second (26.16), while McKenzie took home first-place in the 400-Meter Hurdles with a time of 1:05.75, and Yahner claimed the top-spot in the Pole Vault at 3.60 meters.
In other track events, Charity (12.45) and Brooks (12.740 finished first and second, respectively in the 100-Meter Dash and
Jenna Smith was 11th in the 800-Meter Run at 2:25.95.
Alex Walton also had a time of 1:00.94 in the 400-Meter Run, and
Paige Greathouse had a time of 5:21.70 in the 1500-Meter Run.

The Mountain Cats 4x100-Meter Relay Team of Charity,
Kaela Grant, McKenzie and Brooks finished as the runner-up team at 49.97. The 4x400-Meter Relay Team of Charity, McKenzie, Walton and
Paige Greathouse was second at 4:20.55 and the team comprised of
Ava Barker, Smith,
Lacey Greathouse, and Grant was fifth at 4:46.96.
In the field events, along with Yahner's first-place finish in the Pole Vault,
Gwyn Keith was fourth in the Javelin (25.82),
Natalie Lippincott was fifth in the High Jump (1.53 Meters),
Janiah Tutt was fifth in the Long Jump (4.59 Meters), and
Kiersten Ulmer fifth in the Discus (14.71 Meters).
