Mountain Cat Men's Cross Country Selected 12th in PSAC Preseason Coaches' Poll

After receiving one first-place vote, Head Coach Nick Ramirez's Pitt-Johnstown men's cross country squad was picked to finish 12th out of 16 teams in the 2023 PSAC Preseason Coaches' Poll when it was released by the conference office on Wednesday.

Shippensburg received 12 of the 16 first-place votes and was selected to win the conference title in 2023.  Slippery Rock was chosen second with three first-place votes, while Lock Haven, Indiana (PA), and California (PA) rounded out the Top-five.

Pitt-Johnstown will open the 2023 season at the Saint Francis University Father Bede Invitational on Sept. 1, before traveling to the Bethany (WV) College Invitational on Sept. 9.  The 2023 PSAC Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships are scheduled for Oct. 21 in Bloomsburg.
