Women's Cross Country Picked 16th in PSAC Preseason Coaches' Poll

Head Coach Nick Ramirez and the Pitt-Johnstown women's cross country team were selected to finish 16th when the PSAC Office released its 2023 Preseason Coaches' Poll on Wednesday.

Lock Haven garnered nine first-place votes and was chosen to win this year's conference championship.  Slippery Rock (1 first-place vote), Edinboro (4 first-place votes), Bloomsburg (1 first-place vote), and California (PA) rounded out the Top-five in the 18-team field.

The Mountain Cats are scheduled to open the 2023 season at the Saint Francis University Father Bede Invitational on Sept. 1, before traveling to the Bethany (WV) College Invitational on Sept. 9.  The 2023 PSAC Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships are scheduled for Oct. 21 in Bloomsburg.
