Freshman Sydney Dunn took 47th place to lead Pitt-Johnstown to a 13th place finish at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational.
A pair of Mountain Cats finished in the top 60 out of 122 runners in an invitational that featured 15 teams, including three others from the PSAC.
Point Park's Cassandra O'Connor won the invitational with a time of 18:32.00, while Pitt won the invitational with 64 points.
Dunn finished the course in 20:35.00 to lead Pitt-Johnstown. Audra Fedor finished 52nd at 20:40.00, Ava Barker finished 61st at 21:01.60, Marissa DeNezza finished at 23:26.40 and Gabi Klingenberg finished at 27:55.90 to round out the top-five runners.
West Virginia finished second behind Pitt with 72 points, Point Park finished third with 105 points, Duquesne fished fourth with 113 points and West Virginia Wesleyan finished fifth with 118 points.
The Pitt-Johnstown women's cross country team will be back in action on Oct. 26 when it competes at Kutztown for the 2024 PSAC Championships.
