The Pitt-Johnstown men's soccer team returns home to host a PSAC Western Division match against California (PA) on Wednesday.  Kick-off is set for 1 p.m. at Windber Stadium.

Head Coach Eric Kinsey and the Pitt-Johnstown Mountain Cats, 3-10-1 overall and 0-6-1 in the PSAC West, look to bounce back from a tough, 2-0, loss at Slippery Rock on Saturday.  Jacob Tichnell made seven saves, but the Rock netted a pair of goals in the final 12 minutes to break the scoreless tie.

California (PA) under 12th-year Coach Emedin Sabic has lost its last three matches and comes at 3-7-4 overall and 0-5-2 in conference-play.  The Vulcans suffered a 1-0 loss to Seton Hill on Wednesday and a 6-0 loss to No. 6 Gannon on Saturday.

On Oct. 9, the Mountain Cats traveled to California and came away with a 1-1 PSAC draw.  After Eloi Vellvehi gave the Vulcans a 1-0 halftime lead, Pitt-Johnstown answered with a goal from Ryan Kyei Boahen in the 66th minute to secure the draw.

The Mountain Cats visit Seton Hill for a PSAC West match on Saturday, before closing out the 2024 season with a conference match against Gannon on Nov. 8.
