
Ryan Kyei Boahen's second half goal cut a 2-0 deficit in half, but Seton Hill added a late insurance tally to hold on for a 3-1 PSAC Western Division victory over the Pitt-Johnstown men's soccer team on Senior Day, Saturday afternoon at Windber Stadium. The Mountain Cats are now 3-6-0 overall and 0-2-0 in conference-play.

Nils Heinrich finished an assist from Brandon Knapp 22 minutes into the match that gave the Griffins a narrow, 1-0 advantage at the half.
Seton Hill made it 2-0 on a Julian Marker goal just over a minute into the second half, before Kyei Boahen took
Tristan Ralph's cross and beat Griffins' goalkeeper Jonathan Leary six minutes later to get the Mountain Cats back to within one.
However, Seton Hill used an insurance goal from Keegan Amos in the 85
th minute to push the lead back out to two and set the final at 3-1.
PJ Derksen faced 25 shots from Seton Hill and made nine saves, but surrendered all three goals.
Pitt-Johnstown had nine shots and forced Leary to make one save.
With the win, the Griffins improved to 6-1-2 overall and 2-0-1 in the PSAC West.
Pitt-Johnstown visits California (PA) for a PSAC West match on Wednesday, before hosting a conference match against Slippery Rock on Oct. 16.
