

Pitt-Johnstown scored three first half goals, including a pair from
Haley Neidig, on its way to a 4-0 PSAC Western Division victory at Clarion, Wednesday night. The Mountain Cats improved to 4-3-2 overall and 2-3-2 in conference-play.
Pitt-Johnstown, which had 10 first half shots and eight shots on goal, got the offense going early and used Neidig's header off of a
MJ Labinjo cross just under four minutes into the match to take a 1-0 lead.
Neidig then took
Kristen Horgan and
Lydia Roman's assist and scored her second goal of the evening in the 29
th minute, before
Sophia Lamesta and
Delaney McGrath's set up a goal from Roman to the bottom left corner behind Golden Eagles' goalkeeper Sage Sherk to put the Mountain Cats in front 3-0 at the break.
Alyssa Shields added an insurance goal with under a minute to play to set the final at 4-0.

Emma Morin recorded her sixth shutout of the season after facing 10 shots and making four saves.
Sherk took the loss after allowing all four goals. Sherk saw 16 shots and made six saves for the Golden Eagles, now 1-8-0 overall and 0-7-0 in the PSAC West.
Pitt-Johnstown host a PSAC West match against seventh-ranked Gannon on Saturday at noon at Richland High School, before going to Slippery Rock for a conference match on Wednesday.
