Isaiah Vance (285 lbs.) and
Dakoda Rodgers (197 lbs.) each posted perfect records to lead Pitt-Johnstown, the only Division II wrestling team, to 21 wins against Division I opponents at Sunday's 2024 Journeymen Collegiate Classic in Bethlehem, Pa.

Vance went 4-0 with four first period falls over Marc Berisha (Sacred Heart), Tristan Kemp (Cal Baptist), Drake Garrison (VMI), and Mangus Bebla (Buffalo), while Rodgers was 3-0 with major decisions over Toby Schoffstall (VMI) and Kwasi Bonso (Duke), and a technical fall over Damian Schunke (Arizona State).

Mason Myers (141 lbs.),
Carter Weaver (149 lbs.), and
Cooper Warshel (157 lbs.) all won a pair of matches, and
Tyson Cook (133 lbs.),
Gavyn Beck (165 lbs.),
Macon Myers (174 lbs.),
Ty Broadway (184 lbs.),
Tony Salopek (174 lbs.), and
Noah Gnibus (184 lbs.) won one match each for the Mountain Cats.

Pitt-Johnstown travels to East Stroudsburg to open the PSAC schedule on Nov. 15. The Mountain Cats will return to the Sports Center on Jan. 4 to host a Quad Match with Lake Erie (OH), UNC-Pembroke, and Grand Valley State (MI).
