Pitt-Johnstown senior midfielder/forward
Haley Neidig was named All-PSAC West Women's Soccer selection for the fourth time, including earning a spot on the first team for the third consecutive year, when the conference office released this year's teams on Thursday. Voted was done by the league's coaches.
Along with Neidig, senior forward
Sophia Lamesta (King of Prussia, Pa./Upper Merion High School), red-shirt junior midfielder
Lydia Roman (Summerhill, Pa./Forest Hills High School), and sophomore defender
Kaitlyn Pavusek (Palmyra, Palmyra Area High School) were all named Second-Team All-PSAC West.
Neidig, a native of South Williamsport, Pa. and a graduate of South Williamsport High School, led Pitt-Johnstown in goals (7), points (16), shots (47), and shots on goal (30) and was tied for the team-lead in assists with four.
Neidig, a First-Team All-Conference choice in 2022 and 2023 and a second-team choice in 2021, ranks second in the PSAC in Shot Accuracy (.622), fifth in Game Winning Goals (3), eighth in both Goals Per Game (.47) and Points Per Game (1.07), ninth in Total Goals (7), and tenth Total Points (16).
Nationally, Neidig, a 2021 Second-Team and 2023 First-Team D2CCA All-Atlantic Region selection, ranks 27th in Shot Accuracy and 58th in Game Winning Goals.
Lamesta, Roman, and Pavusek all garnered their first All-PSAC West selections on their way to helping lead Pitt-Johnstown to its first PSAC Tournament appearance since joining the conference in 2013.
Lamesta and Roman each closed out the season with five goals, four assists, 14 points, and 14 shots on goal, while Pavusek started all 17 matches and had three shots while helping to anchor the Mountain Cats' back line.
