Pitt-Johnstown senior setter Adiamar Beaz, a second-team selection in 2023, was named 2024 First-Team All-PSAC West Volleyball, while senior outside hitter Lualis Alvarado and defensive specialist Gabriella DeRenzo earned spots on the second team when the league office announced this year's honors on Thursday.
 
Beaz, from San Juan, Puerto Rico, leads Pitt-Johnstown and the PSAC in Assists per set (10.3), service aces (66), and service aces per set (.62) and ranks fourth in the conference in total assists (1,098).  Nationally, Beaz is fourth in aces per set, fifth in service aces, 30^th in assists per set, and 41^st in total assists.
 
Alvarado, a First-Team All-PSAC West a year ago, and DeRenzo, both secured spots on the All-PSAC West Second-Team.
 
Alvarado, also a native of San Jua, Puerto Rico, leads the team in kills (403), kills per set (3.77), points (442.5), and points per set (4.14), third in third in digs (217), and fourth service aces (26).  She ranks fourth in the conference in both kills and kills per set, and fifth in points per set.  She ranks 41^st in NCAA Division II total kills, 49^th in kills per set, and 65^th in points per set.
 
DeRenzo, a native of Pittsburgh and a graduate of Oakland Catholic High School leads the team in digs (587) and digs per set (5.49) and is second in both assists (83) and service aces (43).  DeRenzo is second in the PSAC and 20^th nationally in digs per set, and second in the conference and 25^th nationally in total digs.
