Pitt-Johnstown fell to Division I foe Colgate 71-46 in a exhibition matchup on Saturday afternoon at Cotterell Court in Hamilton, New York.
The Mountain Cats (1-9, 0-4 PSAC)Â gained valuable experience against a battle-tested opponent in the Raiders, who sit at 8-3 on the year before getting into their conference schedule.
Junior transfer Liv West led the Mountain Cats with a team-high 13 points. Sophomore Camille Dominick provided 12 points. Both players combined for six of Pitt-Johnstown's 23 rebounds.
After trailing at halftime, Pitt-Johnstown outscored Colgate's second unit 13-12 in the third quarter and were outscored in the fourth just 14-12.
The Mountain Cats will take on West Chester in a PSAC crossover matchup on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Sports Center.
