The Pitt-Johnstown men's soccer team returns to action on Wednesday when it host a non-conference match against D'Youville. Kick-off is set for 5:30 p.m. at Windber Stadium.
Head Coach Eric Kinsey and the Pitt-Johnstown Mountain Cats come in at 2-2-0 following Tuesday's lopsided, 8-0, victory over Penn State-Greater Allegheny.
Holger Lozano had two goals and three assists, while
Jack Moyer and
Oscar Trilles Monferrer each had a pair of goals and an assist for the Mountain Cats.
D'Youville, under first-year
Head Coach Sean Hallas, is 0-4-0. The Saints are coming off of a 3-1 loss to St. Michael's (VT) College on Friday.
Frederick Balmforth accounted for D'Youville's goal.
Pitt-Johnstown and D'Youville have met on two other occasions. On Sept. 21, 2021, the Mountain Cats got a goal from
Alexzander Toto in a 1-1 draw in Johnstown, before the Saints earned a 3-0 victory in Buffalo, NY on Sept. 5, 2022.
The Mountain Cats visit Central Penn College on Monday, before hosting a non-conference match against Columbia Union (MD) next Wednesday.
