After three straight conference road matches, the Pitt-Johnstown women's volleyball team returns to the Sports Center to host a PSAC West match against Seton Hill, Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Sports Center.
Prior to Friday's match at California (PA),
Head Coach Justin Haupt's Mountain Cats were 11-4 overall and 2-1 in conference-play. Pitt-Johnstown got 22 kills from
Ellie Zuro Cirino and 14 kills from
Caroline Knight in a five-set win at Edinboro on Oct. 3, before suffering a three-set loss at Gannon last Saturday. Zuro Cirino added a team-high eight kills against the Golden Knights.
Seton Hill, under 41

Head Coach Rick Hall, was 8-6 overall and 0-2 in the PSAC West before Friday's match at Indiana (PA). The Griffins got 13 kills apiece from
Katie Flohr and
Elizabeth Kolkowski in a four-set loss at Slippery Rock on Oct. 3 and eight kills from
Elysia Smith in last Saturday's four-set loss at Clarion.
Pitt-Johnstown and Seton Hill have met 25 times since the 2007 season and the Mountain Cats hold a 13-12 advantage. Last season, the teams split a pair of conference matches. On Oct. 11 in Greensburg,
Paige Cole had a match-high 24 kills and Flohr tallied 17 kills in a 3-1 Griffins' victory.
Lualis Alvarado led the Mountain Cats with 14 kills. Pitt-Johnstown responded with a five-set win in the Sports Center on Nov. 9 behind Alvarado's 17 kills and Zuro Cirino's 16 kills.
The Mountain Cats will host PSAC West matches against Clarion on Oct 17 at 6 p.m. and Slippery Rock on Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. in the Sports Center.
