Emma Morin made five saves to guide Pitt-Johnstown to a 2-0 PSAC Western Division victory over Edinboro, Wednesday afternoon at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field. The Mountain Cats are now 2-4-4 overall and 2-4-2 in conference-play.
Henry's header off of
Lydia Roman's corner kick beat Edinboro goalkeeper Brianna Garey seven minutes into the match to give Pitt-Johnstown the early.
Neither team scored again until Henry finished Roman's cross with just under 15 minutes let to play to give the Mountain Cats an insurance goal and set the final at 2-0.
Morin, who recorded her second shutout of the season, faced 10 shots from the Fighting Scots and made five saves.

Garey suffered the loss for Edinboro after allowing both goals on 12 Pitt-Johnstown shots. Garey also made a pair of saves.
With the loss, the Fighting Scots fell to 6-5-0 overall and 4-4-0 in the PSAC West.
The Mountain Cats travel to PSAC matches at Clarion on Saturday and Gannon next Wednesday, before celebrating Senior Day with a conference match against Slippery Rock on Oct. 25 at noon at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
