
The Pitt-Johnstown women's soccer team collected eight more shots than California (PA), but neither team was able to find the back of the net, and the teams battled to a 0-0 PSAC Western Division draw, Wednesday afternoon at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer field.
Emma Morin made seven saves for the Mountain Cats, now 1-4-4 overall and 1-4-2 in conference-action.
Pitt-Johnstown controlled the play much of the match, out-shooting the Vulcans, 19-11, including 11-6 in the second half.

Rylee Fry each had five shots and combined for three shot on goals for the Mountain Cats.
Morin made three saves in the opening half, then added four more in the second half to help Pitt-Johnstown pick up one point in the PSAC standings.
Cal U, now 0-8-2 overall and 0-5-2 in the PSAC West, got five saves from Autumn Bishop, while Alexis Brown collected a team-best three shots for the Vulcans.
The Mountain Cats will host a PSAC West match against Edinboro on Oct. 15 at 4 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer field, then travel to Clarion for a conference match on Oct. 18.
