Head Coach Justin Haupt's Pitt-Johnstown volleyball team, 17-11 on the season, will compete in its third straight and seventh overall NCAA Division II Regional Tournament after earning the No. 4 seed in the Atlantic Region when this year's field was released, Monday evening. The Mountain Cats will take on fifth-seeded Shepherd (WV), also a member of the PSAC, in the quarterfinals on Dec. 4 in Erie.
This year's Atlantic Region Tournament will take place Dec. 4-6 and will be hosted by top-seeded Gannon at the Highmark Events Center in Erie.
Eight eight-team regionals will be played at on-campus sites. Regional competition will be single-elimination, best three-of-five-set matches and will not include a third-place match. The winners of each of the eight regionals will advance to the NCAA finals, Dec. 11-13, at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Fall, S.D. Competition at the finals site will be single-elimination, best three-of-five-set matches.

No. 3 Indiana (PA) (20-8) vs. No. 6 Fairmont State (WV) (23-10)
The Regional Quarterfinals matches are scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 4, with the semifinals are on Friday, Dec. 5., and the Atlantic Regional Championship Match on Saturday, Dec. 6.
The winner of the Pitt-Johnstown-Shepherd match will take on the winner of the No. 1 Gannon-No. 8 Fayetteville State match in the Atlantic Region Semifinals on Friday, December 5.
