First-year Head Coach Tyler Reinhart and the seventh-ranked Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers, who already clinch at least a share of the program's 10^th straight PSAC Dual Meet Championship, will look to win it outright when they host No. 15 Gannon for Friday's night's Winterfest Weekend and Senior Night celebration.  The match is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Sports Center.
 
The Mountain Cats will close out the 2024-25 regular season and celebrate Senior Night by recognizing Justin Briscoe (197 lbs.), Ty Broadway (184 lbs.), Kyler Crawford (157 lbs.), Mason Myers (141 lbs.), Dakoda Rodgers (197 lbs.), Jake Sabol (174 lbs.), and Tony Salopek (174 lbs.).
 
Pitt-Johnstown has won 10 straight matches and comes in at 12-2 overall and 5-0 in the PSAC.  The Mountain Cat clinched at least a share of the program's ninth straight PSAC Dual Meet Championship with a 42-6 win at Shippensburg on Feb. 4.  Braxton Rice won by fall at 141 lbs., while Tyson Cook (133 lbs.), Noah Gnibus (184 lbs.), Rodgers (197 lbs.), and Isaiah Vance (285 lbs.) all earned technical fall victories.
 
Pitt-Johnstown is led by trio of All-Americans in No. 7 Trevon Gray (125 lbs.), No. 6 Rodgers (197 lbs.), and No. 5 Vance (285 lbs.) and returning NCAA National Qualifiers Mason Myers (141 lbs.) and Cooper Warshel (157 lbs.).
 
Gannon, Pitt-Johnstown, and Kutztown would all share the PSAC title if the Golden Knights come away with a victory and Kutztown defeats Shippensburg on Friday and East Stroudsburg on Wednesday.  Gannon, ranked 15^th in the Open Mat Dual Meet Rankings at 8-6 overall and 4-1 in the PSAC under second-year Head Coach Tom Boyd, is coming off of a 34-14 victory over Penn State-Behrend on Feb. 6 and a 26-18 home loss to No. 10 Ashland on Sunday.
 
The Golden Knights are led by 2024 All-Americans in No. 11 Jerry Echevarria (133 lbs.) and Nick Coreno (165 lbs.) and 2024 National Qualifier Ethan Richner (157 lbs.).
 
     Since the 20024-05 season, the Mountain Cats hold a 16-2 advantage in the series.  Pitt-Johnstown has won four straight, including a 17-15 win over the Golden Knights in Erie last season.  Rodgers and Vance each won by decision in the final two bouts to erase a four-point deficit and lead Pitt-Johnstown to the two-point win.
