Rice, BraxtonHead Coach Tyler Reinhart and the ninth-ranked Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers lock down at least a share of the program's ninth consecutive PSAC Dual Meet Championship following Tuesday's 42-6 victory at Shippensburg.  The Mountain Cats increased their winning streak to 10 straight wins and improved to 12-2 overall and 5-0 in the PSAC.

A victory over Gannon in the regular season finale on Feb. 14 in the Sports Center would give Pitt-Johnstown the outright PSAC Championship.

Braxton Rice followed by pinning Calvin Lederer at 4:55 at 141 lbs. to earn his first collegiate dual meet victory, before Shippensburg answered with an 8-6 win from Michael Trainor over Chad Ozias at 149 lbs. to cut it to 17-3.

Following a forfeit win from Cooper Warshel at 157 lbs. that pushed the Pitt-Johnstown advantage out to 23-3, the Red Raiders got an 8-2 win from Nick Delp at 165 lbs.

The Mountain Cats closed out the match with four straight wins, starting at 174 lbs. with Tony Salopek's 16-2 major decision win over Cole Lang.

At 184 lbs., Noah Gnibus dealt Owen Koch a 15-0 technical fall loss at 3:48, and sixth-ranked Dakoda Rodgers got a technical win of his own that extended it to 37-6.  Rodgers defeated Diesel Koser, 2-3, at 6:38 to improve to 19-1 overall and 14-0 in dual meets.

The Mountain Cats got their fourth technical fall of the evening from fifth-ranked Isaiah Vance, 20-4 at 5:42 over Connor Livingston in the final bout at 285 lbs.

Shippensburg slipped to 5-9 overall and 0-4 in the PSAC.
