

Lock Haven scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh to earn a 5-4 PAC West victory over Pitt-Johnstown in Saturday's opener in Lock Haven, before scoring four runs in the bottom of the sixth in the nightcap to sweep the Mountain Cats with a 5-2 win.

In game one, Lock Haven opened-up a 2-0 lead after one inning on RBI singles from Ethan Nagy and Stephen McMillan.Â

Pitt-Johnstown, 12-26 overall and 4-16 in conference-play, quickly tied it with a pair of runs in the top of the second.Â

Erik Rhodes to give the Mountain Cats their first lead in the top of the third.

Logan Ferguson to put the Mountain Cats on top, 4-2.

However, the Bald Eagles struck for three runs in the bottom of the seventh. A pair of unearned runs off of Pitt-Johnstown starter
Ben Tomb knotted it at four, and Bryce Vincent's single through the right side off of
Zyler Freedman scored Morgan Billotte to give Lock Haven the 5-4 walk-off win.

Tomb allowed all five runs (3 earned) on seven hits in 6.1 innings to suffer the loss and fall to 3-4. He struck out four and walked two.

Turcovski doubled home a run, while Ebeling and Reffner each had a hit and an RBI for the Mountain Cats.

In game two, Lock Haven scored an unearned run in the bottom of the first off of Mountain Cat starter
Jimmy Kunst, but Iseminger's bases loaded single to left in the top of the fifth brought home
Brody Roberts and Ferguson to give Pitt-Johnstown a 2-1 advantage.

Cole Sansom entered the game and gave up an RBI infield single to Nathan Wise and a two run base hit Joseph DeSiena that put the Bald Eagles in front, 4-2.Â
Roman Donis the gave up a run scoring single and Lock Haven took a 5-2 lead into the seventh.

Jace Szaflarski tossed a perfect seventh inning to record the save and help the Bald Eagles complete the sweep.

Ferguson went 2-for-4 with a run, Iseminger had a hit and drove in two, and Roberts singled and scored a run for Pitt-Johnstown.

Kunst took the loss and fell to 0-2 after giving up four runs (3 earned) on five hits over the first 5.1 innings. Kunst fanned seven and walked one.

Lock Haven is now, 15-24 overall and 5-14 in the PSAC West.

Pitt-Johnstown will host a non-conference game against Mansfield on Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Point Stadium, before starting a four-game, home-and-home PSAC series at Indiana (PA) on Friday.
