The Pitt-Johnstown men's track and field team enjoyed multiple top three finishes while competing in Saint Francis University's Red Flash Open on Saturday.
John Yahner took 3rd place in the pole vault at 4.00 meters. Ryan Porch claimed 3rd in the long jump with a performance of 6.73 meters. Noah Ser secured 3rd place in the high jump at 1.90 meters.
Nicholas Kelly checked in at 3rd in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:12.2 minutes. Ethan Barrick was 4th in the 1500-meter at 4:07.54.
Charlie Levander clocked a time of 58.08 seconds to take 6th in the 400-meter hurdles. Nate Thomas was right behind him in seventh at 1:00.07.
Cristian Thornton was consistent in both of his usual events, taking 6th place in the 200-meter dash (23.06 seconds) and 400-meter dash (50.88 seconds). Damian Blum, meanwhile, was 7th in the 400-meter dash (51.26 seconds) and 10th in the 200-meter dash (23.79 seconds).
Nicholas Legnine legged out an 8th place mark in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.41 seconds. 
Pitt-Johnstown will compete at Slippery Rock's Last Chance Meet on Friday ahead of the PSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships scheduled for May 8-10 at Slippery Rock.
