Pitt-Johnstown junior outside hitter Ellie Zuro Cirino was named PSAC West Volleyball Athlete of the Week for the second time this season after averaging 20 kills, 21.75 points. 8.5 digs, and 3.0 block assists in a pair of Mountain Cat victories last week.

In Tuesday's PSAC West opener, Zuro Cirino collected match-highs of 20 kills and 21.0 points, and added three digs and two block assists to help Pitt-Johnstown pickup a five-set win over Indiana (PA) in the Sports Center.

Zuro Cirino followed that effort up with match highs of 20 kills on a .410 hitting percentage and 22.5 points in a four-set non-conference victory over East Stroudsburg in the Sports Center.  Zuro Cirino also added 14 digs, three block assists, and an assist against the Warriors.

Zuro Cirino earned her first PSAC West Athlete of the Week Award on Sept. 15.
