Head Coach Justin Haupt and the Pitt-Johnstown volleyball team will make their 2025 home debuts with a non-conference match against Point Park, Tuesday evening in the Sports Center.  Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The Mountain Cats began the season with three straight wins at the Virginia State Tournament last weekend.  Pitt-Johnstown swept Bloomsburg and Bowie State (MD) on Friday, before earning a 3-1 win over the hosts on Saturday.

Ellie Zuro Cirino's 15.7 kills, 17.7 points, and 8.0 digs per match led the way for the Mountain Cats.

Point Park enters the match at 0-3 after dropping matches to Walsh (OH), Lake Erie (OH), and Saginaw Valley state (MI) at last weekend's Hall of Fame Classic in Canton, Ohio.

Since first meeting in 2005, Point Park holds a narrow, 9-8 advantage in the series.  However, Pitt-Johnstown has won seven of the last eight meetings, including a 3-0 sweep over the Pioneers in the Sports Center last year on Sept. 24.

The Mountain Cats travel to the Frostburg State (MD) Tournament this weekend and to the Indiana (PA) Tournament on Sept. 19-20, before opening PSAC play against the Crimson Hawks on Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. in the Sports Center.
