Pitt-Johnstown senior Giovanni Vezza was been named PSAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week by the conference office on Wednesday after tying for third-place with Findlay's (OH) Colin Schadek at one-over par at Monday and Tuesday's Tiffin University Kyle Ryman Memorial Tournament at Mohawk Golf and Country Club in Tiffin, Ohio.

Vezza's efforts helped the Mountain Cats finish third at 11-over par.

After opening the tournament with a 1-over 73, Vezza carded a pair of even-par, 72s to tie for third-place.

Tiffin's Liam Harvey claimed individual medalist honors at 3-under par, but Findlay won the team championship at +3, six shots ahead of Tiffin and eight shots in front of Pitt-Johnstown.
