GREENSBURG, Pa. — Pitt-Johnstown could not find enough offensive rhythm to keep pace with Seton Hill in an 85-70 loss on Wednesday night at the McKenna Center.
The Mountain Cats fell to 11-16 (5-14 PSAC) with one regular-season game remaining.
Baden Forup finished 9 of 17 from the field and recorded 20 points and nine rebounds. Adam Bilinsky also contributed 20 points on a 9-for-13 shooting performance. Ryan Calo added nine points and five rebounds. Will Kromka provided eight points and nine rebounds, while Vinnie Cugini supplied eight points and eight rebounds.
Seton Hill raced out to an 8-0 lead in the opening three minutes, putting Pitt-Johnstown in a deficit that it never recovered from.
The Mountain Cats trimmed it to 11-6 and 13-8 on a pair of jumpers from Bilinsky before the Griffins went back up by nine a little more than a minute later.
Bilinsky scored on a layup at the 8:38 mark of the first half that cut it to 22-19, but it was as close as the Mountain Cats got to tying it. They went into the break down 36-27.
Bilinsky's second 3-pointer of the game shrunk the lead to 56-53 with about 11 minutes left, but Seton Hill answered with four straight points and carried at least a two-possession lead the rest of the way.
The Mountain Cats shot 42.4% (28 of 66) from the field and 31.3 (5 of 16) from beyond the 3-pointer arc. The Griffins didn't fare much better from the field, shooting 43.8% (32 of 73), but capitalized on a 48-36 rebounding advantage and 19 second chance points.
Pitt-Johnstown closes out the 2025-26 season at 3 p.m. Saturday with a Senior Day showdown against Clarion.
