The fifth-ranked Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers used three consecutive technical falls early in the match to build a commanding lead, then tacked on four wins by fall in the final five bouts to earn a 46-3 PSAC win over East Stroudsburg, Wednesday evening in the Sports Center.  The Mountain Cats improved to 12-0 overall and 5-0 in the PSAC.
 
The Mountain Cats got off to their normal hot start with a 20-6 major decision win from No. 1-ranked Trevon Gray at 125 lbs., before three straight technical fall wins gave Pitt-Johnstown a big lead.
 
Tyson Cook started the run of tech falls at 133 lbs. with a 15-0 win at 3:00 over Josh Jasionowicz.  Eight-ranked Chad Ozias then dealt Joe Aldrich a 20-4 loss at the 6:02 mark, and third-ranked Matt Sarbo took just 2:13 to defeat Austin Noe, 23-4, in the bout at 149 lbs.
 
Pitt-Johnstown kept the momentum going.  At 157 lbs., Cooper Warshel used a third period escape and a take down to break a 1-1 tie and defeat East Stroudsburg's Gavin Reynolds, 5-2 ahead of No. 12 Trent Hoover Fall at 3:09 over Anthony Lawrence at 165 lbs. and Elias Long's fall at 4:09 over C.J. Ross at 174 lbs.
 
The Warriors got a 5-2 decision win from No 13 Luke Ciampa over Noah Gnibus at 184 to get on the scoreboard, but a pair of first period falls from 11^th-ranked Brad Morrison at 197 lbs. and Isaiah Vance at 285 lbs. wrapped up the match that saw the Mountain Cats claim nine of the 10 bouts.
 
With the loss, East Stroudsburg fell to 13-6 overall and 1-3 in the PSAC.
 
Pitt-Johnstown will celebrate Senior Night with a non-conference match against Frostburg State on Friday starting at 7 p.m. in the Sports Center, before closing out the 2025-26 dual meet season with a PSAC match at Gannon on Feb. 14.
