Four Mountain Cats Named to 2026 CSC Academic All-District Baseball Team

Four Pitt-Johnstown student-athletes were named to the  2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA Division II Academic All-District Baseball Team when this year's honors were released on Tuesday.

Junior outfielder Brody Roberts (Secondary Education-3.77 GPA) became a two-time Academic All-District selection, while sophomore outfielder Tyler Danko (Criminal Justice-3.65 GPA), junior pitcher Jimmy Kunst (Biochemistry-3.60), and junior first baseman Calvin Iseminger (Early Chldhood Education with Special Education-3.86) all earned spots on the team for the first time.

The 2026 Academic All-District® Baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 16, 2026.
 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
