After two straight conference matches on the road, Head Coach Aideen O'Donoghue and the Pitt-Johnstown women's soccer team return home to host a PSAC West match against Gannon on Saturday.  Kick-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
 
Pitt-Johnstown slipped to 1-6-2 overall and 0-5-2 in conference-play following a tight, 1-0, loss at Lock Haven, Wednesday evening.  Madelyn Pfaff collected five shots, including a pair of shots on goal, while Gianna Cardillo made four saves for the Mountain Cats.
 
Head Coach Colin Peterson's (27^th season), Gannon golden Knights enter the match at 4-2-2 overall and 4-2-1 in the PSAC West.  After getting two goals Brooklyn Respecki in a 3-0 home shutout over Lock Haven last Saturday, the Golden Knights battled to a 0-0, non-conference draw with Roberts Wesleyan (NY) on Wednesday. Alwa Wennstroem made three saves in the draw with Roberts Wesleyan.
 
Last season, Gannon was able to sweep the home-and-home conference series.
 
The Mountain Cats visit Edinboro next Friday and Indiana (PA) Oct. 7 for PSAC West matches, before coming home to begin a three-match home stand starting with Slippery Rock for Breast Cancer Awareness Day on Oct. 10.
