Volleyball Defeats Glenville State in 3 Sets

Marissa Erminio finished with 14 kills and seven digs to lead the Lady Cat volleyball team to a 3-0 non-conference sweep over Glenville State (WV) College, Wednesday evening in the Sports Center. Pitt-Johnstown swept the Pioneers 25-13, 25-22, and 25-16, to improve to 17-6.

Kelsey Shanabrook added seven kills and 15 digs, while Beth Kendera had eight kills. Allison Mondorff collected 32 assists and eight digs, and Ashley DiRado tallied six kills.

Katie Svetahor also chipped in a match-high 19 digs.

Pitt-Johnstown will travel to PSAC matches at Shippensburg University on Friday and at Millersville University on Saturday, before returning home to host conference matches against Kutztown University on November 1 and East Stroudsburg University on November 2.
