Marissa Erminio led Pitt-Johnstown with 20 kills and 16 digs, but Shippensburg University was able to deal the Lady Cats a 3-1 loss to wrap-up the regular season on Lady Cat Senior Day. Prior to the match, Pitt-Johnstown volleyball program recognized this year's seniors,

Beth Kendera, and
Karen Schmidt.
After losing set one, 25-20, Pitt-Johnstown answered with a 25-22 win in set two. Shippensburg came back and sealed the match with 25-20 and 25-20 wins in sets three and four. With this loss, Pitt-Johnstown dropped to 23-10 overall and 15-7 in conference play.
Beth Kendera and
Kelsey Shanabrook each chipped in 10 kills, while
Ashley DiRado tallied eight kills.
Katie Svetahor collected a game-high 21 digs for Pitt-Johnstown and
Allison Mondorff added 43 assists.
The Lady Cats will host a PSAC Tournament Quarterfinal match against an opponent to be determined on Tuesday at 7 p.m. A win on Tuesday will send Pitt-Johnstown to the PSAC semi-finals on Friday at a site to be determined. As required by the PSAC, admission to Tuesday's match is $7.00 for adults, $2.00 for non-PSAC school students, and free to any student with a PSAC school I.D.
