Pitt-Johnstown, which begins play in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) this season, is coming off of a 15-13 record and a 10-12 mark in the now defunct West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC).
The Mountain Cats, who welcome back five lettermen, will be led by seniors

Coach Rukavina enters the year with 392 career victories, just eight shy of the 400-win plateau.
Head Coach Billy Clapper's Penn Sate-Altoona Lions look to bounce back from a 9-15 overall record a year ago. Junior guard Jonathan Ross, the team's leading scorer at 15.1 points per game last season returns to the line-up. However, Coach Clapper must replace double-figure scorers Matt Gehret (12.9 ppg. 7.5 rpg.) and Durant Harvin (11.1 ppg.)
Last year was the first meeting between the two schools. The Mountain Cats got 18 points and nine rebounds from
Ian Vescovi in a 100-60 victory over the Lions on November 13 in the Sports Center.
Pitt-Johnstown travels to Penn State-New Kensington for a non-conference game on Thursday and to IUP to tip-off the PSAC schedule on Nov. 20, before hosting a conference doubleheader with the Lady Cats against Edinboro on Nov. 23 starting at 1 p.m.
