Men's Soccer Suffers 1-0 Loss at Alderson-Broaddus
     10/13/12... (Box Score) Ron McKelvey's goal early in the second half turned out to be the only goal of the match, as Alderson-Broaddus (WV) College dealt the Mountain Cat soccer team a 1-0 WVIAC loss, Saturday afternoon in Philippi, W.Va.  With the loss, Pitt-Johnstown fell to 1-10-1 overall and 1-5-1 in the WVIAC.

     McKelvey finished Teraun Marcus' cross into the box in the 50th minute with what turned out to be the game-winner.

     Eddie Stover (New Kensington, Pa.) took the loss in goal for Pitt Johnstown, which outshot the Battlers 17-11.  Stover made five saves, but allowed the one goal.  Matt Robins earned the win in net for Alderson-Broaddus after making six saves and holding the Mountain Cats scoreless.

     Alderson-Broaddus improved to 4-7-0 overall and 2-4-0 in the WVIAC.


     The Mountain Cats travel to Salem International (WV) University on Sunday for a non-conference match, before returning home to host Lock Haven University for Senior Day at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
