Volleyball Rolls to 3-0 Win at Glenville State

(Box Score) Danielle Fleeger (Clarion, Pa.) had six kills, and Kelsey Shanabrook (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) added five kills to lead a balanced Lady Cat volleyball attack in a 25-17, 25-16, 25-17 WVIAC sweep, Friday night at Glenville State (WV) College. The Lady Cats improved to 15-7 overall and 7-4 in the WVIAC.

Beth Kendera (Johnstown, Pa.) collected four kills, two block solos and a block assist, while Ashley DiRado (Greensburg, Pa.) had two kills and a block for the Lady Cats.

Kayla Petrilla's (Johnstown, Pa.) 15 set assists paced Pitt Johnstown. Kelsey Kohler (Johnstown, Pa.) ended with a match-high 11 digs.

With the loss, Glenville State fell to 5-20 overall and 2-8 in conference-play.

The Lady Cats will host a WVIAC match against Alderson-Broaddus (WV) College next Friday at 6 p.m., before celebrating Senior Day and wrapping-up the 2012 regular season with a conference match against Davis & Elkins (WV) College on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 1 p.m. in the Sports Center.
