Morrow Named Third-Team NCBWA All-American

Pitt-Johnstown sophomore catcher Kyle Morrow (McVeytown, Pa.), was named a 2012 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Third-Team All-American when this year's team were released on Tuesday... (Complete NCBWA All-America Baseball Teams)
Morrow, a First-Team All-WVIAC choice, earned a spot on the NWCWA national ballot after being tabbed First-Team All-Atlantic Region.
Morrow, a graduate of Mount Union Area High School, hit .319 with 12 home runs and a team-best 48 RBI. Morrow also led Pitt-Johnstown in total bases (103), was second in runs (41) and third in double (14). Nationally, Morrow ranks ninth in sacrifice flies (7), 22nd in home runs (12), 26th in home runs per game (.24), 75th in RBI (48), and 79th in RBI per game (.98).
Shepherd (WV) University's Nathan Minnich was named the NCBWA National Player of the Year, while Southern New Hampshire's Timmothy Flight earned Pitcher of the Year honors. St. Mary's Charlie Migl garnered Coach of the Year honors.
