Shaulis Gets Second Straight WVIAC Pitcher of Week Honor

Shaulis, who improved to 3-0 with the 1-0 victory, scattered six hits, struck out five and walked just two.
Last week, Shaulis was named the WVIAC Pitcher of the Week after working all nine innings in a 5-1 non-conference win over Ohio Valley (WV) University on March 6. Shaulis gave up just five hits, struck out 10, and walked one. Ohio Valley's lone run was unearned.
West Virginia State University's Rob Harkins was tabbed the WVIAC Player of the Week. Harkins had seven hits in 11 at-bats (.636), including a home run, a double, and a triple, to help the Yellow Jackets take two-out-of-three games from Shepherd (WV) University. Harkins also scored three runs.
