Barbera Second-Team Daktronics All-Region Baseball

Pitt-Johnstown senior second baseman Nick Barbera (Harrisburg, Pa.), already a First-Team All-WVIAC and an Honorable Mention NCBWA All-Atlantic Region selection, was tabbed Second-Team Daktronics All-Region when this year's teams were released on Thursday.
Barbera hit .331 with a team-best 33 runs scored. Barbera was also second on the team in hits (53), doubles (12) and RBI (35), and third in at-bats (160).
Shepherd (WV) University's Nathan Minnich, the WVIAC and NCBWA Atlantic Region Player of the Year, also garnered Daktronics Atlantic Region Player of the Year honors, while Jeremy Gigliotti (East Stroudsburg University) was the Daktronics Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Year. Gigliotti was also the NCBWA Atlantic Region Pitcher of the year.
