Volleyball Goes 1-3 at Fairmont State Tournament

In Friday's opener, 2010 NCAA Tournament Qualifier Edinboro swept the Lady Cats 25-18, 25-15, and 25-18. Heidenthal and Karen Schmidt (Boswell, Pa.) each had seven kills, while Vebares added five kills. Nikki Oakes (Pittsburgh, Pa.) led the Lady Cats with 13 set assists, and Kayla Petrilla (Johnstown, Pa.) chipped in seven assists. Kelsey Kohler (Johnstown, Pa.) paced the team with 15 digs, and Schmidt and Cassie Heatherly (Glendale, AZ) had eight and seven digs, respectively for Pitt-Johnstown.
