Lady Cat Volleyball Splits Tri-Match With Philadelphia and Point Park

After dropping the opening game, 23-30, the Lady Cats battled the Rams, but fell just short in game two, 28-30. Philadelphia then went on to close out the match with a 22-30 victory in game three.
Freshman middle hitter Megan Lasut (Central City, Pa.) had nine kills, and senior outside hitter Abbey Hrescak (Johnstown, Pa.) chipped in five kills, two service aces and 14 digs. Senior setter Sarah Davison (Grove City, Pa.) collected 20 set assists and senior defensive specialist Ashley Brant (Johnstown, Pa.) tallied 17 digs. In addition, sophomore middle hitter Casey Jo Ritenour (Latrobe, Pa.) had four kills, four block solos and a pair of block assists in the loss.
