Women's Volleyball Falls, 3-0, at Shepherd

The Lady Cat volleyball team fell to 10-8 on the year after suffering a three-games-to-none loss at Shepherd (WV) University, Friday night. Senior outside hitter Abbey Hrescak (Johnstown, Pa.) had seven kills for Head Coach Linda Renzi's Lady Cats.
Pitt Johnstown suffered 28-30, 24-30 and 28-30 losses.
Sophomore setter Merissa Larrew (Irwin, Pa.) had 15 asists, and freshman outside hitter Abby Gearhart (Elton, Pa.) collected 20 digs in the loss.
With the victory, Shepherd improved to 6-14 on the year.
The Lady Cats host Mount Aloysius College on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Sports Center, before traveling to Lycoming College for a tri-match with Lebanon Valley College on Saturdy, October 14.
